You can order as many or as little tiles as you wish, but if we try to calculate the quantities for you, we provide this for information purposes only and using our decades of experience and our best intentions for your bathroom to balance cost, installation time in your home and convenience for you all-round.
If there's not enough, the extra carriage charges and if the fitters have to delay or pop-back, there's additional fitters charges because of the downtime and this can amount to anything form £50-200 on average, so, in addition to minimising inconvenience to you, we try our best to make sure there's enough tiles.
However, while we calculate quantities with an accurate system based on the actual measurements and wastage allowance, changes in design, pure luck or just the way the tiler managed to be extra economical with the cuts etc, this may lead to extra tiles being left-over.
Left-over tiles are useful
It's good to keep some tiles as spares in-case you might damage a tile or more in years to come, or need to move a wall-hung item and have someone make alterations by cutting-out and replacing tiles.
For drainage at the bottom or garden pots, school projects, crafts and a whole host of other things people use them for!
You may even have enough left-over to re-tile a cloakroom floor...
Or, if you have a few boxes left-over, you could possibly sell them on.
Returns process if applicable
You are welcome to take back any boxed tiles to the store/supplier and we will communicate with them regarding this to help with the arrangement. Alternatively, (at our discretion) we might be able to pick them up and take them back for you.
As soon as they've approved and sent a credit, we will send that credit to you via transfer to your bank or a cheque if you prefer.
PLEASE KEEP ALL PACKAGING INTACT AND DO NOT USE DUCK TAPE OR SIMILAR ON THE BOXES. MANY MANUFACTURERS/RETAILERS NEED THE ITEM IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING IN ORDER TO ISSUE A CREDIT
