Plain mirrors cut by the local glazier were popular years ago when there were very few bathroom mirrors mades epcifically for the bathroom. You can still have these of course, maybe add a de-mister and an over-head light, but our view is that by the time you’ve spent on labour, the demister, illumination, the independent switch, on top of the mirror, it can (after our discounts) be cheaper, neater, quicker and longer-lasting to have one that does that and more, made by a bathroom manufacturer.

Non-Functional mirrors offer arguably the most varied range of shapes and stylish frames. They are of course lo-cost too. Not everyone needs a functional mirror, but the ranges we show you are all guaranteed for use by the manufacturers, in a moisture-sensitive environment. We’d always advise against trying any type of mirror from a department store for example as it is less likely to be able to handle the moisture without deterioration.

Functional mirrors are the most popular for clear reasons and they now come in many different shapes, sizes, price-ranges, with no frame, or sometimes a brush, black or brass frame. Many nowadays have de-misters built-in, a neat touch-switch on the mirror and a light that you can dim from cool to warm white to help you wind-down at night or for when taking a bath and you want a more warm and relaxing light in the room.
