Figeuredo, Richmond Hill
We were privileged to be given the opportunity of working on a 16th Century Grade II listed Building on Richmond Hill.
When our clients moved into the property, they had a lot of work to do and all within carefully directed planning restrictions.
The top floor bathroom was one of our biggest challenges and a lot of work for the fitters who had to raise and level the floor while working with an old and insufficient plumbing system. Lifting everything up and down 3 flights of a 'William & Mary' staircase with their 2 beloved dogs chasing them was work in itself.
While these photographs don't yet show the bathroom fully styled and finished, they do show some of the sympathetic styling that allowed contemporary conveniences through the unique copper plated bath, Fired Earth tiles, Limestone, walk-in wet-floor shower with an enormous 0.5m shower head with remaining brassware from Lefroy Brookes.
